Privacy Policy

Have this reviewed before you rely on it. This is an honest description of what the site does today, but a privacy policy is a legal document. The rules that apply depend on where you and your readers are (UK/EU GDPR, CCPA and others), and it must name your legal entity and a contact route for data requests.

This policy explains what hfreedom.com collects, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

Account details. If you create an account we store your email address and a hashed version of your password. We never store the password itself.
Things you save. Coupons you bookmark and stores you follow are stored against your account so they are there next time.
Technical data. Standard web server records: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested and timestamps. These are used to keep the site running and to spot abuse such as brute-force login attempts.
Messages you send us. If you email us or submit a code, we keep what you sent so we can act on it.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not ask for payment details, because you never buy anything from us — every purchase happens on the retailer’s own site under their terms and their privacy policy.

Cookies

Essential cookies. Set when you sign in, so the site remembers you are logged in. Without these, accounts cannot work.
Affiliate tracking. When you click through to a retailer, that retailer or its affiliate network may set a cookie so a resulting sale can be attributed. Those cookies are governed by their policies, not ours.

To complete: if you add analytics, advertising or heatmap tools later, list them here and add a consent banner. Several jurisdictions require consent before non-essential cookies are set.

How long we keep things

Account data is kept while your account exists. Server logs are kept only as long as they are useful for security and troubleshooting. Ask us to delete your account and we delete the account and everything saved against it.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us via the contact page and we will action it.

Children

This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. If you believe a child has registered, tell us and we will remove the account.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date below and, where the change affects you directly, say so on the site.
